CareArc is currently experiencing a temporary shortage of the meningitis vaccine provided through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The VFC program covers required vaccines for uninsured children or those with state insurance. The meningitis vaccine, which is required for school attendance, has been ordered from the state, but we have been informed that shipments are delayed this month.
We understand the importance of timely vaccination for school-age children and are working closely with the state to monitor the shipment status. We will provide updates as soon as additional supplies become available.
"We encourage families to stay in touch with us, and we will notify them immediately once the vaccine arrives," said Melissa Smith, CareArc Community Health Manager. "Our commitment is to ensure that every eligible child has access to the vaccines they need, and we appreciate our community’s patience during this delay."
