CareArc Honors Employee Veterans with Veterans Day Banner Project

October 22, 2024

CareArc is proud to announce the installation of its Veterans Banner Project, honoring the service and sacrifice of employee veterans and their family members. In recognition of Veterans Day and the vital contributions of those who have served our country, personalized banners have been displayed at CareArc’s main facility, showcasing the faces and names of veterans who are part of the CareArc family.

These banners, which will remain on display through mid-November, pay tribute to the courage and commitment of these veterans, celebrating their dedication to protecting our nation. Each banner highlights the name, rank, branch of service, and years served of a CareArc employee or their family member, bringing their service into the spotlight for our community to honor and appreciate.

"It’s an honor to work alongside individuals who have dedicated so much to serve our country," said Justin Ogleby, CareArc Marketing Manager. "These banners are a small way for us to express our gratitude and show our deep respect for their service. We encourage our community to visit and take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by these heroes."

Additionally, CareArc has also created a special wall display featuring framed photos of employee veterans, further recognizing their contributions. Both the banners and the photos serve as visual reminders of the strength and unity that veterans bring to our organization and community.

All proceeds from the Veterans Banner Project will go to the CareArc CAFE Committee, which supports employee activities and engagement initiatives. The committee’s goal is to enhance the workplace culture and foster a sense of community among employees.

"The Veterans Banner Project is a meaningful way for us to connect our mission of care with our veterans' incredible commitment to service," said Carolyn Hollins, Director of Human Resources at CareArc. "We hope this project inspires pride and appreciation for our veterans, not only with our employees and their families, but throughout the Emporia community."

The Veterans Banner Project is one of many ways CareArc is working to create a supportive, inclusive environment for employees and patients alike. CareArc encourages everyone in the community to stop by, view the banners, and join us in celebrating the veterans who make a difference in both our workplace and the world.
