These drive-thru clinics offer a hassle-free way for residents aged six months and older to receive their annual flu vaccinations. No appointments are needed; simply drive up under the canopy on the west side of the building and let us take care of the rest.
"The importance of getting your flu vaccination every year cannot be overstated," emphasized Renee Hively, CareArc CEO. "The flu can have serious consequences, with approximately 200,000 people being hospitalized due to flu-related complications each year."
Influenza is notorious for its ability to mutate and give rise to new strains each season. To combat this, the flu vaccine is specifically tailored to target the strains most likely to circulate in a given year. Hively adds, "The virus is constantly evolving, which is why an annual flu shot is your best defense."
While no vaccine can offer absolute immunity, receiving the flu shot significantly reduces the likelihood of severe symptoms and expedites recovery if infection does occur.
Flu Shot Costs:
With Insurance: Most insurance providers cover the cost of the flu shot.
Without Insurance: For uninsured individuals, the flu shot is available for $30, payable by cash or check.
