CareArc Welcomes Dr. Roland Darey to Its Medical Team in May

CareArc is proud to announce that Dr. Roland Darey will be joining our medical team in May 2025, expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care for the Emporia community and surrounding areas.

Dr. Darey brings over two decades of experience in both primary care and emergency medicine. With a deep passion for procedural medicine and a commitment to hands-on patient care, Dr. Darey is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the United States Air Force Academy and earned his M.D. from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at North Colorado Family Medicine.

For 15 years, Dr. Darey practiced primary care in Wamego, KS, and has also spent the past eight years providing emergency room care in Junction City and Emporia. His extensive background ensures that he can confidently manage a wide range of medical needs, making him an excellent fit for CareArc’s model of integrated, accessible healthcare under one roof.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Darey now calls Kansas home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 30 years, Bridget, their five children, and growing number of grandchildren. His passions include climbing Colorado 14ers, studying reformed theology, and serving in his church community.

When asked for his best health advice, Dr. Darey kept it simple and sincere: “Maintain a healthy weight with a reasonable diet and regular exercise.”

Dr. Darey’s arrival supports CareArc’s ongoing effort to expand services, reduce appointment wait times, and offer more provider continuity to patients—an essential part of improving patient satisfaction and re-engaging individuals who may have delayed care during recent years.
