Emporia High School Graduate and CareArc Employee Awarded Prestigious Arlene Eichorn Scholarship

The Friends of CareArc are proud to announce Adamaris Palomares as the recipient of the 2025 Arlene Eichorn Scholarship. A graduate of Emporia High School and a dedicated Dental Assistant at CareArc, Adamaris is currently enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at Flint Hills Technical College. She has been recognized for her academic achievements, leadership, and passion for healthcare.

Adamaris was an active member of Latinos Unidos, Trio Talent Search, AVID, and Varsity Girls Soccer during her time at Emporia High School. Now, as she furthers her education in dental hygiene, her commitment to serving others and improving community health continues to shine.

"Adamaris exemplifies the qualities we seek in an Arlene Eichorn Scholarship recipient—hardworking, driven, and passionate about making a difference in healthcare," said Carol Moyer, a representative of the Friends of CareArc. "Her dedication to patient care at CareArc and her pursuit of excellence in dental hygiene make her an outstanding choice for this honor."

The $1,000 Arlene Eichorn Scholarship is awarded annually by the Friends of CareArc to an outstanding local student pursuing a career in healthcare. The scholarship honors Arlene Eichorn, a beloved former employee of the Flint Hills Community Health Center, and supports students in fields such as Licensed Practical Nursing or Dental Hygiene.

In addition to awarding this scholarship, the Friends of CareArc provide financial support to CareArc and help raise awareness of its mission to improve community health.

Adamaris’s recognition as this year’s recipient highlights her strong academic background, leadership, and commitment to patient care. As she continues her journey in the dental hygiene field, she is set to make a meaningful impact on both her patients and the community.
