Lyon County WIC to Host Breastfeeding Bash Event

July 17, 2024

Lyon County WIC is excited to announce the upcoming Breastfeeding Bash event, a special gathering dedicated to supporting and empowering pregnant and nursing mothers in our community. This event will take place on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia, Kansas.

The Breastfeeding Bash is open to all pregnant and nursing mothers and is designed as a come-and-go event, allowing participants to attend at their convenience. This event is an excellent opportunity for mothers to gain valuable breastfeeding knowledge and resources in a supportive and welcoming environment.

"Our goal is to provide mothers with the information and support they need to successfully breastfeed their babies," said Diana Moore, WIC Manager. "We understand the challenges that come with breastfeeding, and this event is a great way for mothers to connect with experts and each other, share experiences, and gather essential resources."

In addition to the wealth of information available, all attendees will be entered to win door prizes generously donated by our sponsors. These prizes are a small token of our appreciation for the commitment and effort that mothers put into breastfeeding.

CareArc invites all pregnant and nursing mothers to join us for this special event. No registration is necessary, and we encourage participants to drop in at any time during the event hours.
