Flint Hills Community Health Center is announcing it is changing its corporate name to CareArc, Inc., effective immediately.
This name change is part of a larger rebranding of the company to keep pace in a competitive healthcare environment and to communicate its services more accurately.
“Healthcare has seen a lot of changes, especially in the last few years, and we are very much part of that,” said Renee Hively, CEO of CareArc. “The Flint Hills Community Health Center name has done a great job since the health center was created in 1997, but we needed a new name that represents the vision that we have for the future.”
The adoption of the CareArc name unites all the company’s services and locations under one umbrella. CareArc is a non-profit health center offering medical, dental and behavioral health services in Lyon and Greenwood Counties, along with community health in Lyon County.
“A name change will help us show our patients who we really are as an organization,” said Hively. “We are so much more than a ‘health department.’ With all the services that we offer, we are striving to help people get back to living their best lives.”
The new name and logo were selected after months of deliberation and collaboration among staff at the health center, that included representatives from all levels of the organization.
While the adoption of the CareArc name is effective immediately, the changes to the company’s buildings, materials and online presence will transition over the next several months.
“Rebranding the company has been a long process, but in the end, it will be worth it,” said Justin Ogleby, CareArc Marketing Manager. “It allows us to clarify, both to our patients and to ourselves, who we are as a company and what our purpose is. We exist to create a healthier and happier community.”
A ribbon cutting will be scheduled for a date to be determined. CareArc patients, stakeholders and the public will be invited to attend.
CareArc accepts private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and uninsured and underinsured patients. It is CareArc’s mission to improve the health and wellbeing of those in the community by providing personalized, quality and affordable healthcare for everyone, without exception.
